Band and Orchestra Rentals with Option to Purchase

Lafayette Music offers quality student instruments for both band and orchestra instruments as an affiliate of Music & Arts, one of the nation's leading providers of student rental instruments.  Our current rental rates appear in the table below and our contracts offer the following features:

• Rent month-to-month with no obligation beyond the first month's rent.

• Rental amount can be fully applied to purchase of instrument.

• Instrument can be purchased at any time at a 30% discount to the remaining balance.

• Any instrument can be exchanged with full credit during 1st twelve months.

• Fractionally sized string instruments can be exchanged with full credit throughout the life of the contract.

• A liability damage waiver which covers accidental damage to the instrument is available for an additional $5.00 per month. 

• We feature only top name brands such as Artley, Bach, Bundy, Conn, Gemeinhardt, Getzen, Glaesel, Knilling, Ludwig, Pearl, Selmer, Suzuki, and Yamaha.

• Receive one free private lesson with the purchase of one regular priced lesson from one of our participating instructors.

• Receive an instant coupon good for $5 off the purchase of any music, accessories or gift items of $20 or more or $10 off the purchase of any music, accessories or gift items of $40 or more.

Don't forget -

If you would like to speed up the process of renting an instrument, especially as we can get extremely busy in the store at the height of the back-to-school rental period, send us an e-mail describing the instrument you want and whatever books and accessories you think you will need. We will set aside an instrument and whatever else you need and then send you a return e-mail or give you a call (you tell us which you prefer) when we have it all together. We will hold everything for 48 hours to give you time to get to the store. This way, you won't have to worry about making any unnecessary trips. If we have any questions, we'll send you a return e-mail or give you a call if you include your phone number.
